Player House Rules for Romeo Amusement Dart League

Updated: Oct 15

Romeo Amusements has a long-standing tradition of fostering friendly competition and community spirit through its dart leagues. To maintain fair play and uphold the league's standards, players must follow the house rules outlined below.

  1. Match Scheduling and Week 99 Rules

    1. Scheduled Play: All matches must be played on the scheduled date. Any match played either before or after the scheduled date will be deleted and transferred to "Week 99." This ensures fair play and consistency throughout the season.

    2. Week 99 Players: While team wins during Week 99 are counted, individual players will not receive any personal wins or marks for these matches. This rule ensures fairness in individual standings.

  2. Bye Weeks, Forfeits, and Forfeit Money

    1. Bye Matches: Teams with a bye week do not contribute money for their wins, as a bye is simply a pass and not a contested match.

    2. Forfeit Matches and Money: Teams involved in a forfeit match must put in money to receive their wins. This applies only to the team benefiting from the forfeit.

    3. Forfeit Teams: If a team forfeits more than two weeks of matches, they will be automatically removed from the league leader program. This rule helps maintain active participation and fairness throughout the season.

  3. Match Starting Times

    1. Teams are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled matches.

      1. Start Time: 7:30 p.m.

    2. Late Arrival: Any team that arrives after 7:45 p.m. will forfeit the match. Promptness is essential for ensuring the smooth running of the league.

  4. Sportsmanship

    1. All players are expected to demonstrate good conduct and sportsmanship. Misbehavior or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated by the league or the location where matches are held. Any serious breach can lead to expulsion from the league.
